    The fun starts when approval becomes someone else's problem.

    Where this comes from

    We did the corporate thing. The meetings about the meetings, the decks nobody read, the enthusiasm you had to fake by 9am. We kept asking ourselves the same question — do I really want to earn my vacation? — like rest was something you got for pretending long enough. That discomfort grew. So we left, and took the risk. Hellbeing is what we built once nobody was making us pretend.

    How we got started

    Hellbeing started as the agency — twenty years of branding cigars, spirits, and cannabis. We still do it, and it still pays for everything else. The rest of Hellbeing grew out of that, on nights, weekends, trails, and campsites.

    Three things under one name. The agency that started it and still runs. A cannabis brand in New York — Grown in the Catskills, sold legal in the state. And this, the apparel — the part we make purely because we like making it. A creative outlet put out into the world without much concern for whether the world asked.
